Over the summer at the always amazing Silverdocs Film Festival I caught a screening of a new synchronized swimming documentary called Men Who Swim. The film is a comedic look at a group of men in Sweden who take up synchronized swimming. Despite the fact that, to me, this movie sometimes feels more like a mockumentary (than a doc), it’s still worth a watch. Besides, it’ll give you your synchro doc fix until the Sync or Swim DVD is released.
The film screens tonight on the PBS series Independent Lens (check local listings). See more Independent Lens.

: Men Who Swim on PBS tonight

must see if this available in the uk

whatever :-)

they just left what i think is a suicide note on tumblr 15 minutes ago! i dont have many followers but please reblog this to someone who does! its not too late!!

If you can reblog really stupid, meaningless posts, you can reblog this. Someone has to know this girl, and it might not be too late to get her help. Tumblr has done it before, we can do it again. Please reblog this.

Intercounty Championships

andywg:

Got carried away in the pool.
160 lengths is 4,000m, or 2.5 miles.  Completed well inside the ironman cut-off time.
Very tired now.  Off to bed now.

good plan

New look to free online Swim Log app to be released in Feb 2011

New look to free online Swim Log app to be released in Feb 2011

Update to mySwimLog Roadmap

A quick update on two new developments at mySwimLog.

1 mySwimLog iPhone Web App

First the iPhone Web App is currently in beta testing so you can view and update your log from your iPhone. The app is Web Based but has the look and feel of a native iPhone application. The app is also specifically designed to be lightweight and fast.

2 Improved Look And Feel

We are also updating the mySwimLog website to make the look and feel more modern and also to pave the way for more new functionality. This should be completed by end of January and the site will be updated in early Febuary with the new look and feel.

cheers

Tony
